Amazfit GT 2 series to launch in India this month, GTR 2 to debut on December 17th
Amazfit announced on Friday that it will bring the GT 2 series of smartwatches to India this month. The smart watch series includes GTR 2, GTS2 and GTS 2 mini. The company added that it will launch GTR 2 with SpO2 in the country on December 17.
Amazfit’s GT 2 series is known for its health and fitness-focused features. Some of the main features of the smartwatch series include enhanced heart rate monitoring, OxygenBeats blood oxygen saturation measurement technology, sleep tracking, stress monitoring, and a biological data sensor. Smartwatches also cover basics like calorie tracking, exercise data, different workout modes, and distance and speed covered.
In its statement, the company said it will reveal more details about the deployment of the devices on its official website and Flipkart. As said before, GTR 2 will be introduced on December 17th, while the other two models will be available in the following weeks.

Amazfit GTR 2 comes with a circular display with a curved 3D design without bezel. It has a 1.39 inch high definition AMOLED display. It has 3 GB of internal storage. The company says the device can offer up to 14 days of battery life with typical use. On basic use, GTR 2 can offer up to 38 days of backup. It is also said to offer 10 hours of continuous Bluetooth calling.
The smartwatch has up to 12 sports modes such as outdoor running, free workout, outdoor cycling, rock climbing, elliptical and trail running among others. The device also comes with 5ATM water resistance.
As mentioned above, the laptop has SpO2 for blood oxygen measurement. BioTracker 2 helps detect abnormal heart rate alerts.
